F02: Performance improvements. Corrections in 3.2.0 since 3.1.1 ================================ C01: Problem with non-valid exclude area solved: In some situations for IE8 in windows XP, a non-valid exclude area could be created. Now any non-valid exclude areas will be removed. Features from previous releases =============================== F01: AXIS Media Control download: If required, the latest AXIS Media Control version is downloaded and installed automatically when configuring the application. Automatic download and installation requires an Internet connection. For setups without Internet connection, there is also an installation package that includes AXIS Video Motion Detection 3 and the latest AXIS Media Control version. F02: Swaying objects: The swaying object filter is used to avoid detecting objects that only move a short distance, for example moving trees, flags and their shadows. F03: Short-lived objects: The short-lived object filter is used to avoid detecting objects that only appear for a short period of time, such as light beams from a passing car and quickly moving shadows. The number of seconds is the minimum time that must pass before the object is detected. F04: Small objects: The small object filter is used to avoid detecting objects that are too small. For example, if only moving cars should be detected, the small object filter can be used to avoid detecting people and animals. Note: The filters will be applied to all objects in the image, not only to the ones at the location of the visual outline. F05: Visual Confirmation: Visual confirmation is used to validate that the settings are correct, that is, that all objects that should be detected are detected. When enabled, all moving objects found by AXIS Video Motion Detection 3 will be encircled and followed by polygons. Known Bugs/Limitations ================================ L01: Could not upload package file; the file is not a valid package. This message is displayed if using a non-supported firmware. Go to axis.com to check compatible products, make sure to use the latest firmware in your camera. L02: Enabling Visual confirmation may introduce video latency. L03: The "xinternal" event is a internal event used within the application. L04: Image Appearance Mirror together with Image Rotation 90 degrees is not supported. L05: AXIS Video Motion Detection 3 is not intended to be used on PTZ cameras. L06: Visual confirmation is disabled after 15 minutes. L07: If the camera’s capture mode is changed during setup, the camera must be restarted for visual confirmation to work correctly. L08: It is not recommended to run AXIS Video Motion Detection at the same time as the camera’s built-in motion detection or other Analytics ACAPs. This may impact behavior and performance of this application. L09: In a multichannel product (eg. F44 or Q6000-E) it is important to only use visual confirmation on one channel. L10: Note: In a Pan/Tilt/Zoom product the filters does not adapt to the current view, therefore both swaying object filter and the small objects filter should be used with caution. L11: If running VMD on a multichannel camera there is a risk for missed detection or dropped frames due to performance reason.
