New features in 7.20.1 since 6.15.6 =================================== 7.20.1:F1 Added ONVIF GetVideoEncoderConfigurationOptions extension. This makes it possible for an ONVIF client to get e.g. the bitrate range of the camera. 7.20.1:F2 It is now possible to specify image rotation via ONVIF video source configuration 7.20.1:F3 Support for LLDP neighbor announcements. Products announce themselves now in the network via LLDP protocol. 7.20.1:F4 The functionality of enabling Axis DNS Service via control button has been disabled by default. This allows clients to use encrypted access from start. If HTTPS is to be used in daily operations, it is recommended to replace the generated self-signed certificate with a CA-signed certificate. 7.20.1:F8 The Axis On Screen Crontrols add-on makes it possible for Axis Camera Station (ACS) or a VMS to get information about various features of the camera. This information is available through a JSON API via a CGI. 7.20.1:F9 Apache web server has been updated to version 2.4.25. 7.20.1:F10 Support for 24bit LPCM audio mode. 7.20.1:F11 OpenSSL has been updated to version 1.0.2k to increase overall minimum cyber security level. 7.20.1:F12 The former user group selections for HTTPS Connection Policy (administrator, operator, viewer) have been merged to one single HTTPS Connection Policy. 7.20.1:F13 Support for AXIS SD card health API. The SD card health API allows a client to track and request the health and wear-out state of an camera with AXIS Surveillance SD Card. 7.20.1:F14 The Axis Media Control (AMC) is not longer embedded in the product and needs to be downloaded separately on https://www.axis.com/global/en/support/downloads /axis-media-control if needed. The Java Applet has been removed as well. 7.20.1:F15 Pressing "Download the server report" in System -> Maintenance will now automatically attach a snapshot of the image to the .zip file in order to simplify support. 7.20.1:F16 If Network Share is setup to use DNS host name as host and if the IP address changes after mount, the host name is resolved to current IP address. 7.20.1:F17 Support for recordings with G711 ยต-law audio encoding. 7.20.1:F18 Corrected behavior for conditional triggers. 7.20.1:F19 Improved handling for networks with small MTU values. 7.20.1:F20 Improved Zipstream using dynamic frame rate. 7.20.1:F21 Support for ONVIF Profile G. Corrections in 7.20.1 since 6.15.6 ================================== 7.20.1:C1 Improved handling of streaming via RTSP over TCP. 7.20.1:C2 Corrected handling of #D text overlay, it's no longer needed to specify the camera source. 7.20.1:C3 Improvements in session ID handling for rtsp streaming. Useful when streaming in some video clients. 7.20.1:C4 Added link local IPV6 support for NTP. 7.20.1:C5 Fixed Security vulnerability CVE-2016-5195. 7.20.1:C6 Improved handling of day and night shift levels adjustment. 7.20.1:C7 Improved HTTP image upload stability in unstable networks. 7.20.1:C8 Corrected Turkey/Istanbul timezone from GMT+2 to GMT+3. 7.20.1:C9 Improved camera stability when metadata is used. 7.20.1:C10 Corrected an issue that prevented the user from saving a action rule with a Email Recipient that had SSL enabled. 7.20.1:C11 Corrected an issue that made the overlay text disappear when a client requested a new video stream. 7.20.1:C12 Improved loading of the web-interface in unstable networks. 7.20.1:C13 Fixed an issue resulting in that HTTP notification action rules stopped retrying from contacting the receiving server after a failed attempt. 7.20.1:C14 It is now possible to encrypt SD card in Mozilla Firefox. 7.20.1:C15 Improved camera stability when TriggerData is used. 7.20.1:C16 Corrected an issue in the event system that prevented the camera from re-sending the SMTP notification every 10 seconds in case the receiving server reported an error. 7.20.1:C17 Corrected a issue resulting in "503 Service Unavailable" when trying to play a recording from a camera with a specific time range via ONVIF. 7.20.1:C18 Corrected an issue with an additional sign "/" in the absolute upload path of an SFTP Recipient when saving the action rule causing it to not work correctly. 7.20.1:C19 Corrected an issue when an ONVIF client connected to the camera via digest authentication. 7.20.1:C20 Fixed critical vulnerability ACV-116267. 7.20.1:C21 Added ACAP support for NV12 format. 7.20.1:C22 Cleanup of SD cards are improved in order to extend the lifetime of SD cards. The current chosen language will not have any affect there. 7.20.1:L4 It is recommended to perform a factory default after downgrading the cameras firmware if needed. 7.20.1:L5 Features currently explained in the help files may not be supported in the camera. 7.20.1:L6 Video streaming H.264 for Safari has been temporarily disabled in the web- interface because of an bug in the Safari browser. 7.20.1:L7 No audio support when viewing MJPEG video streams directly in the web-interface.
