TCP/IP silent startup is added in this release, connections to the print server might not be possible during the time, typically 45-60 seconds, the boot protocols require for startup. No ping during boot functionality is added, during the boot- procedure the print server will not respond to the PING (ICMP ECHO) command. Ip setting via SLP is added. This is in order to support the use of AXIS IP Jumpstarter to manage this print server. The Netware Directory parameter, PSERVER_NDS, is now split into 3 separate parameters, one for the tree name, one for the files server and one for the distinguished name used in NDS. The parallel ports can now be used in an additional mode, HINOACK. If required the parallel ports can be manually configured to be uni-directional. The bi-directional functionality is turned off. An additional timeout parameter is added that determines how long to wait for data from the printer after a print job is finished. Corrected problems in version 6.15 ================================== A correction is added for IPX routers that use "errornous" src address in the replies from the server. A problem with stability during high volume reverse telnet printing is corrected. A few memory leaks regarding printer status management is corrected. A corrction is made such that the print server will not become the active monitor. The beaviour of the DHCP client is corrected to comply with RFC 2131. The print server now uses 0.0.0.0 as the source address for dhcp-broadcasts. Known problems in version 6.15 ============================== Support for Checksums in Netware is not implemented. HP WebJetAdmin is not tested nor supported in this release.
