          Important:

          -  The 5.80.3 print server software requires NetPilot 2.61 or later.

          -  The non SNA/IBM part of this release is based on Print Server
             software release 6.00. See Release Descriptions below for
             information on changes made to the non SNA/IBM parts of the 
             software in the 5.80.3 release.

          Changes made since release 5.80:
 
          Easy Release Description:

           1. The SCS emulator now handles true multiple parallel sessions.

          This release is based on Print Server software release 6.00.
          The changes made in the 5.80.3 release is covered below:

           1. Support for NetWare Pure IP has been added.

           2. Support for Dynamic DNS has been added.

           3. The DHCP Enable / Disable parameter is now precious.

           4. Changed the product type name.

           5. NetBIOS message handling has been improved.

          Appendix A   -  DETAILED TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION OF RELEASE  App A

          Software version: 5.80.3

           1. No further information.

          This release is based on Print Server software release 6.00.
          The changes made in the 5.80.3 release is covered below:

           1. The NetWare Pure IP support enables Dual Stack support.
              This means that both NetWare over IP and IPX can be used at the
              same time.

           2. Dynamic update support in Domain Name System (DNS) has been
              added to the print server. Three new parameters has been added
              for this purpose: Domain Name and DNS primary and secondary
              server.
              The Dynamic update is done by the print server itself, by
              informing the primary or secondary DNS server if the IP address
              or host name is changed.
              The DNS server has to support dynamic updates from clients for
              this to work.

           3. The DHCP Enable / Disable (DHCP_ENB) parameter does not change
              by factory default anymore.
         
           4. The product type was in earlier releases "Print Server".
              This has now changed to "Network Print Server".
              This is e.g. visible if using telnet or ftp to log in to the to
              the network print server.

           5. NetBIOS message handling has been improved. This enhancement 
              yields more efficient bandwith utilization.

          Appendix B   - SOFTWARE LIMITATIONS                        App B

          Software version: 5.80.3

          1. The SNA stack is single host only. Multiple SNA hosts cannot
             access the Print Server simultaneously.

          This release is based on Print Server software release 6.00.
          The software limitations in the 5.80.3 release is covered below:

          1. Secondary printer function doesn't work when printing from AXPUW
             nor AXIS Print Monitor.

          2. The maximum number of simultaneous TCP connections is set to 200.
             If many users are monitoring the status or accounting web pages,
             all connections may under rare circumstances be consumed by the
             automatic refresh function. This can cause problems accepting new
             print jobs using TCP/IP printing protocols.

          3. PROS print jobs may be corrupted when printing with bitronics
             support. The problem is avoided if the parameter PRx_IN (NetPilot
             property pages value "Read-Back Port") is set to NONE.
