The Hymatom C-DECODE LCR.
The Hymatom C-DECODE LCR is a controller that is connected between the video server and the PTZ device. The video cable and the RS485 serial communication wires from the video server are connected to the Hymatom C-DECODE LCR. The Hymatom C-DECODE LCR can be configured by using LCR protocol commands. The "Device ID" in the video server and in the Hymatom C-DECODE LCR must be set equal (use the LCR protocol to configure the Hymatom C-DECODE LCR).

Basic Parameters

Parameter Description Range
Device ID This is the address of the connected device. The value corresponds to the value of the address switches in the connected device. 1-255

Advanced Parameters

Parameter Description Range
Move speed The current maximum pan and tilt speed. 1-100
Pan move time per degree Panning 1 degree takes this amount of time (unit = 1s/10000). Changing "Move speed" requires this parameter to be re calibrated. Calibration is done by requesting a 360 deg. pan (i.e. "rpan=360") at current "Move speed" and then adjusting this parameter until the request pans exactly 360 degrees. If pan speed(deg/sec) is known, this is calculated by 10000/(pan speed). 1-500000
Tilt move time per degree Tilting 1 degree takes this amount of time (unit = 1s/10000). Changing "Move speed" requires this parameter to be re calibrated. Calibration is done by requesting a 90 deg. tilt (i.e. "rtilt=90") at current "Move speed" and then adjusting this parameter until the request pans exactly 90 degrees. If tilt speed(deg/sec) is known, this is calculated by 10000/(tilt speed). 1-500000
Zoom time The calibration constant for zoom (time in ms for maximum zoom change). Higher values give greater zoom changes. Calibrate by confirming that a maximum zoom request (i.e. "rzoom=9999") at one extreme (e.g. zoom wide) takes you to the other. 1-65535
Current field angle The calibration constant for click-in-picture (center). Higher values give greater movements. Calibrate at minimum zoom (i.e. zoom wide) and at the most commonly used speed, by making sure that clicking on an object brings the object to the center of the image. 1-1800
Pan bar range Range (in degrees) to use with "panbar" requests. Clicking at the very end of a bar will pan half this value in the corresponding direction. 1-720
Tilt bar range Range (in degrees) to use with "tiltbar" requests. Clicking at the very end of a bar will tilt half this value in the corresponding direction. 1-720
Goto preset delay Time (in seconds) it takes for the image to stabilize it self, after the camera has performed the longest "goto preset action". Used for disabling/enabling image analysis (e.g. motion detection). 0-100
