Daisy-chain connections.
When initializing the PTZ-units, a "Device ID" will be assign to each connected unit in the daisy-chain. The first unit in the chain will get "Device ID" 1, the second unit will get "Device ID" 2 and so on.
A power fail on some of the units in the daisy-chain will interrupt the communication will all the following units in the daisy-chain. When the power is back again, a re-initialization is required to be able to communicate with the units again. When changing the connection order of the units on the daisy-chain, a re-initialization is required to assign "Device ID" to each unit. After a re-initialization of the daisy-chain, the mapping of Video sources and "Device ID" have to be checked and updated. The preset positions may also need to be verified.
An initialization of the daisy-chain can be made by restarting the camera server or by changing the mapping of the video sources or by changing "Device ID" in the configuration.
