Autofocus
Autofocus is implemented using a one-push-autofocus command, which is executed after any pan, tilt or zoom change.
A focus request disables autofocus.

Autoiris
Autoiris is disabled on iris and goto-preset requests.

Digital zoom
In order to enter the digital zoom range, a zoom request must be sent when at full optical zoom.

Initialization
If the ptz unit is not physically connected during camera mapping (including driver installation) or is reset during operation, the unit may need to be reinitialized. This is most easily accomplished by remapping the camera (uncheck and recheck the corresponding "Use with source" checkbox under "Video Source Configuration").

Preset positions and digital zoom
Digital zoom is temporarily disabled when saving a preset position, since it's not possible to save a preset position in the digital zoom range.

Basic Parameters

Parameter Description Range
Device ID The id of the PTZ unit. 1-32

Advanced Parameters
Default values have been optimized for the TK-C676E unit.

Parameter Description Range
Move speed Current maximum pan and tilt speed 1-100
Move pan per degree Calibration constant for pan. Higher values give larger movements. Calibrate at the most commonly used speed, by adjusting the value until a 360 degree pan request (e.g. "rpan=360") pans (exactly) 360 degrees. 1-3000
Move tilt per degree Calibration constant for tilt. Higher values gives larger movements. Calibrate at the most commonly used speed, by adjusting the value until a 90 degree tilt request (e.g. "rpan=90") tilts (exactly) 90 degrees. 1-3000
Zoom speed Current zoom speed. NOTE:The set value is mapped onto 4 discrete speeds. 1-100
Zoom per unit Calibration constant for zoom. Higher values give greater zoom changes. Calibrate at the most commonly used zoom speed, by confirming that a maximum zoom request performs a maximum zoom. 1-600
Focus speed Current focus speed. NOTE:The set value is mapped onto 4 discrete speeds. 1-100
Focus per unit Calibration constant for focus. Higher values give greater focus changes. Calibrate at the most commonly used focus speed, by confirming that a maximum focus request performs a maximum focus change. 1-600
Iris time Calibration constant for iris (time in ms for maximum iris change). Higher values give greater iris changes. Calibrate by confirming that a maximum iris request (e.g. "riris=9999") at one extreme (e.g. full iris close) takes you to the other. 1-30000
Current field angle Calibration constant for click-in-picture (center.) Higher values give larger movements. Calibrate at minimum zoom (i.e. zoom wide) and at the most commonly used speed, by making sure that clicking on an object brings the object to the center of the image. 1-1800
Pan bar range Range (in degrees) to use with panbar requests. Clicking at the very end of a bar will pan half this value in the corresponding direction. 1-720
Tilt bar range Range (in degrees) to use with tiltbar requests. Clicking at the very end of a bar will tilt half this value in the corresponding direction. 1-720
Digital zoom max Maximum digital zoom. 1x (off), 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x, 10x
