Installation
============

- Run the self-extracting AXISCameraStationClientSetup.exe file.

- Make sure you have full administrator rights on the computer you install on.

- Do NOT install AXIS Camera Station Client on a computer already running AXIS
  Camera Station.

- After upgrade to this version it is not possible to downgrade to the previous
  version without a complete uninstallation.

- If AXIS Camera Station is upgraded any AXIS Camera Station Clients must also
  be upgraded.


Uninstallation
==============

- Run 'Uninstall' under Start/Control Panel/Add or Remove programs/
  Some files might need to be manually erased under
  C:\Program Files\Axis Communications\Axis Camera Station Clent\ and
  under C:\TempACS\.

Recommendations
===============

- AXIS Camera Station Client connect to the AXIS Camera Station on TCP port
  11007. This port must be open in any firewalls/routers etc. between AXIS
  Camera Station Client and AXIS Camera Station.

- AXIS Camera Station is designed for XGA (1024 x 768) screen resolution
  or higher. Default screen size might be lower on some of the
  recommended OS listed above. Go to Control Panel/Display/Settings to
  adjust the screen resolution.

Known limitations
=================

- If configuration changes not are uploaded to AXIS Camera Station when 
  prompted after leaving the administration section they are lost. 

See AXIS Camera Station release document. This document only covers client
specific limitations not found in the Station.
