RELEASE 4.02 ============ News in 4.02 ============ 4.02:01 Support for DC-iris lens added for AXIS 211. 4.02:02 Configurable low light behavior. Possible to prioritize frame rate or image quality. 4.02:03 Improved motion detection algorithm. 4.02:04 The cumulative security update for Internet Explorer (832894) prevents the correct configuration of user names and passwords for external video sources, so these options have been removed in 4.02. You will be prompted for the user name and password when accessing external video sources. 4.02:05 It is possible to upload overlay images with file names containing spaces. 4.02:06 Several new resolutions supported via the HTTP API. See the table below. 4.02:07 Added HTTP API for IP address filtering. Corrections in 4.02 =================== 4.02:08 Non-alphanumerical characters are displayed correctly in the overlay text in live view. Known limitations in 4.02 ========================= 4.02:09 After changing the "Log Level for email" setting you may have to restart the unit for the setting to take effect. 4.02:10 Adding a new event or modifying an existing event will restart all active events. 4.02:11 An active event will be stopped if the connection to the upload server fails. 4.02:12 Motion detection windows are adjusted so that their width and height are divisible by 8 (pixels). 4.02:13 When saving a snapshot image, some browsers (e.g. Mozilla) will fetch a new picture and the saved picture will not match the displayed snapshot. 4.02:14 The Mozilla web browser does not always close the image stream properly when leaving the live view page. Restarting the stream can sometimes fail as well. Restarting Mozilla solves these two problems. 4.02:15 The motion detection setup only works in Internet Explorer for Windows. 4.02:16 The Axis Media Control toolbar is not available when using the Mozilla and Netscape web browsers. This is because images are viewed with server push instead of Active X (Axis Media Control).
