FIRMWARE RELEASE NOTES ====================== Products affected: AXIS A8004-VE Release date: 2015-12-01 Release type: Production Firmware version: 5.85.1 File name: A8004-VE_5_85_1.bin Preceding release: 5.65.1.1 AMC version: 7.1.2.2-1 Onvif support: Profile S ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS ==================== The firmware can be upgraded using Axis Camera Management, HTTP or FTP. Please follow the instructions from the user's manual, the web page at http://www.axis.com/techsup/cam_servers/how_to_upgrade.htm or the file named howtoupgrade.txt. New Features ============ 5.85.1:F1 Multiple simultaneous SIP calls are now supported: Up to 6 initiated calls, up to 1 active incoming calls and up to 2 active calls in total. 5.85.1:F2 VoIP configuration and status is now included in the Server report. 5.85.1:F3 The default value of Network.HTTP.AuthenticationPolicy parameter is changed to digest (Encrypted). For outgoing HTTP requests for HTTP notifications and Axis Door Controller interaction (proxy.cgi) the AuthenticationPolicy parameter is used increasing the protection against Man-in-the-middle attacks. 5.85.1:F4 It is now possible to configure what audio codecs to use in SIP calls. 5.85.1:F5 It is now possible to change VMS settings using the web interface. VMS settings control the Call/State event emulation when accessing the VAPIX streaming API:s from e.g. a VMS. The VMS call timeout is now configurable, in previous versions it was fixed to 30 seconds. 5.85.1:F6 It is now possible to configure stream parameters for SIP calls. Resolution and framerate is configurable. Corrections in 5.85.1 since 5.65.1.1 ========================================= 5.85.1:C1 Fixed the problem if many refreshes are made on the Axis product in ACC, the camera will respawn after approx. 10 h. 5.85.1:C2 When making a video-only SIP call, the call tries to connect but no video is sent and the call is terminated. 5.85.1:C3 Previously, A8004-VE supported only boolean property events as additional conditions and thereby, Call/State events could not be used as an additional condition. This has now been corrected. 5.85.1:C4 In some setups, calls via TCP or TLS does not respond to hangups from the remote peer after ca 30 seconds. A connected call can be hung up by pressing the call button, sending a axcall:TerminateCall request or restarting the device. 5.85.1:C5 UPnP announces the old IP address even after a change of IP (e.g changing from a a DHCP address to another static address) This can be resolved with a restart of the product after changes has been applied. However, it will not help when the address is changed via DHCP on each start. Known Bugs/Limitations ====================== 5.85.1:L1 When trying to connect to a proxy server using digest autentication, the connection failes with a 407 error. 5.85.1:L2 As action rules holds copies of recipient information independentally of the Recipient configuration, it is possible to call a SIP recipient using an action rule despite the recipient is removed in the Recipent configuration. To prevent this, one must remove the recipient from the action rule too. 5.85.1:L3 For the Java Applet viewing to work with Java 7 update 51 and later add the camera URL to the exception list as per: http://www.java.com/en/download/help/java_blocked.xml 5.85.1:L4 When a Swedish language file is uploaded, the swedish flag is missing in the UI. 5.85.1:L5 Terminating a VMS call using the Call service function TerminateCall will not close any streams nor update the current call state. 5.85.1:L6 It is not possible to send both RFC2388 and RFC2976 DTMFs through Asterisk at the same time. This limitation can be avoided by using one of RFC 2388 or RFC 2976. It can also be avoided by using Asterisk to transcode into RFC 2976.
