Known problems and limitations in version 2.10 ============================================== Note! Some limitations are also model dependent and can behave different on different models! 2.10:1 To use this version of the driver, firmware 5.01 or higher is required. 2.10:2 To use this driver, a full duplex serial interface is required (a 4-wire RS422 or a 4-wire RS485 serial interface). 2.10:3 An external RS422 to RS232 serial converter is most likely required by the PTZ unit. 2.10:4 If a unit in the daisy-chain is disconnected or have a power fail, communication with the following units are interrupted. See the help-page for more information. 2.10:5 A focus movement will stop any ongoing continuous zoom movements. 2.10:6 A focus movement will wait until an ongoing zoom movements is ready. Known problems and limitations with NU-700 models. ====================================================== 2.10:7 Manual iris control only controls the iris. To control shutter speed and gain the auxiliary commands have to be used. 2.10:8 It is not possible to mix NU-700 with other VCC models on the same serial port. 2.10:9 It is only possible to connect one single NU-700 unit on a serial port. 2.10:10 NU-700 only supports relative focus. ======================================================
