New Features ============ 5.41.1:F01 Edge storage with support for CIFS/SMB (Microsoft Network share). 5.41.1:F02 ext4 file system support for SD Card. Axis recommends SD Card users to use the camera to format the SD Card with ext4 instead of the default vFAT. ext4 will increase recording reliability compared to vFAT. Note that SD Cards formatted with ext4 cannot be read by a Microsoft PC without installing additional ext4 drivers on the PC. 5.41.1:F03 The internal Event Management system has been redesigned and VAPIX has been extended with a new Event-API based on Web-Services. Utask has been removed and with that the possibility to start scripts and applications from user.task.list. The legacy user action rules in the camera will continue to work but will not be visible in the camera user interface unless converted to the new design. Event Management user interface (GUI) has been redesigned. For more information please see User's manual. 5.41.1:F04 Always Multicast. Provides the ability to multicast video regardless of whether clients access the streams or not. 5.41.1:F05 ONVIF 1.02 support. 5.41.1:F06 Storage Management 1. Clean up policy is enabled by default and the default value for the parameter is 1 week. 2. Parameter for clean up level is in the Plain Config and default is set at approximately 90% of the storage device capacity. 3. The start time of a recording is updated when data is removed due to clean up policy. 5.41.1:F07 Audio Detection history graph (GUI). The audio history level graph simplifies configuration of audio detection. 5.41.1:F08 Port status is now located under System Options -> Ports & Devices -> I/O Ports. 5.41.1:F09 Added LLDP support. 5.41.1:F10 The number of privacy masks is increased from 20 to 32 5.41.1:F11 Support for new hardware revision 5.41.1:F12 36x optical zoom (new hardware rev.) Corrections in 5.41.1 since 5.25 ================================== 5.41.1:C01 Web services parameter is removed and thus status from the System Overview as well. ONVIF is enabled by specifying an ONVIF administrator in the Security -> ONVIF settings. 5.41.1:C02 RTP over RTSP over HTTP with other than default http port works as expected. 5.41.1:C03 It is no longer necessary to restart the camera after configuring default router parameter via VAPIX. 5.41.1:C04 Improved camera responsiveness. 5.41.1:C05 Configuration of time zone for Australia appears correctly in the web interface. 5.41.1:C06 It is possible to use HTTPS and port forwarding. 5.41.1:C07 Up to 127 characters can be used in the 'From email address' field. 5.41.1:C08 If PTZ Control Queue settings are changed, the new settings will work correctly without restart. 5.41.1:C09 ISO 8859-1 characters are displayed correctly in motion detection names and OSDI zone names. 5.41.1:C10 Improved handling of Image freeze after a pan/tilt/zoom movement is completed to shorten time before "unfreeze". 5.41.1:C11 Double & are no longer present in HTTP notification. The Action rule gives a valid URI. 5.41.1:C12 Improved SD card performance 5.41.1:C13 A running guardtour will no longer be interrupted if another guardtour is removed. Known Bugs/Limitations ====================== 5.41.1:L01 Limiting the bandwith to lower than 100kbit/s may lead to losing contact with the camera. 5.41.1:L02 Maximum brightness will not result in a white image. 5.41.1:L03 Auto tracking might be confused when the IR cut filter is turned on/off. 5.41.1:L04 Pan/tilt coordinate directions presented in the text overlay (#x #y) will not be rotated along with the image when rotation is 180. 5.41.1:L05 The NTP implementation will not synchronize to NTP servers that signal an alarm condition (clock not synchronized) in its Leap Indicator. 5.41.1:L06 After changing the date/time of the camera, the video stream will stop after 60 seconds with an RTSP session time out. It does not matter if the media stream is started before or after the time is changed. Workaround: Reboot the camera after the time has been changed manually or by NTP. 5.41.1:L07 There is no boundary check when entering a motion detection window name. If the name is more than 1024 charachters long, the parhand application may restart. 5.41.1:L08 If RTSP authentication is switched off, streaming H.264 with QuickTime and other Apple compatible clients will not work as they require authentication of the RTSP, but do not allow HTTP authentication. 5.41.1:L09 AXIS Media Control client may stop displaying the H.264 video stream after the PC has been locked. Workaround: Reload the Live View page. 5.41.1:L10 When setting up a guardtour with Random view order it will ignore Pause between runs. 5.41.1:L11 The ONVIF command 'gotoHomePosition' will go to the home position at a very slow speed, it will not use the default speed. 5.41.1:L12 If PTZ limits are changed, the camera must be restarted for the changes to be applied to the ONVIF API. 5.41.1:L13 When the automatic IR cut filter enables/disables the IR cut filter, it may trigger motion detection. 5.41.1:L14 The image is always showed with zero rotation at the OSDI Zone Setup. 5.41.1:L15 Zoom response is very slow when using the mouse scroll wheel in AMC. 5.41.1:L16 Pan/tilt/zoom control does not work using Java Applet if the Control Queue is enabled. 5.41.1:L17 Live view may display screen tearing (horizontal cut-lines) most prominent when panning the camera. 5.41.1:L18 Firefox can sometimes show white image flicker at the bottom of the video stream. This occurs on Windows XP and Windows Vista with Firefox versions 3.6.3-3.6.6 (possibly on later versions aswell). 5.41.1:L19 When the camera is in RFL-mode (after a failed upgrade), flash loading it with Firefox may sometimes not work. Use Internet Explorer instead. 5.41.1:L20 Video stream is lost when clock is synchronizing to a past computer time. 5.41.1:L21 Color parameter has no effect when pulling RTSP stream with color=0. 5.41.1:L22 Stream profile names are limited to alphanumerical characters. 5.41.1:L23 Frame Size Control does not affect size of the snapshot taken with the upper right control that can be added to the Live View. 5.41.1:L24 Constant bit rate might fluctuate more than 10%. 5.41.1:L25 Events triggered at the same time, will by default settings share the same filename. This may result in upload of corrupted image. 5.41.1:L26 With audio enabled, the initial connection latency increases. 5.41.1:L27 An uploaded audio clip must be less than 1.5MB. 5.41.1:L28 Check and repair is only available if the file system is ext4. 5.41.1:L29 When using action rule resulting in short recordings, it is recommended to extend post-event time. 5.41.1:L30 Date modifiers "%m-%d-%Y" are not formatted correctly when used with folder name, SMTP subject and message. 5.41.1:L31 When snapshot is taken during live view with frame rate and bandwidth values enabled as text overlay, the values are shown as 0 in the snapshot. This happens for H.264 stream. 5.41.1:L32 Some versions of Chrome requires a manual refresh of webpage to show newly created privacy masks and exclude areas. 5.41.1:L33 On some Windows 7 PC's IP Utility doesn't show the DUT when using IPv6. 5.41.1:L34 Expired or not yet valid client certificates will be uploaded successfully instead of being rejected. 5.41.1:L35 Issue with an uploaded bitmap overlay which was made partially transparent unconditionally. 5.41.1:L36 DVM Honeywell generates criticals when accessing a camera during the boot sequence. 5.41.1:L37 When requesting a videostream using video.cgi, the parameter color=0 will not result in a black&white image. 5.41.1:L38 Privacy masks needs to be removed and recreated if capture mode is changed. 5.41.1:L39 Automatic IR Cut Filter will not work if Auto Iris is off. 5.41.1:L40 In Internet Explorer 6, the live view may stop when pressing buttons in the live view interface. 5.41.1:L41 Live view may not work with QuickTime. Try disabling direct3d acceleration in QuickTime. 5.41.1:L42 Events triggered by multiple input ports may not always work. 5.41.1:L43 The camera can not play an audio clip while a viewer is sending/ receiving audio from to/from the camera.
