UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS
====================

The firmware can be upgraded using Axis Camera Management 3.0, HTTP or FTP.
Please follow the instructions from the user's manual, the web page at
http://www.axis.com/techsup/cam_servers/how_to_upgrade.htm or the file named
howtoupgrade.txt.


RELEASE 5.07
============

5.07.2 is a production service release for AXIS P7701. This service release
enables AAC sound as well as some other various fixes.

Known limitations
=================

5.07:L01 Input resolution can be scaled a maximum of 4 times up or down.

5.07:L02 Mega-pixel Motion JPEG over RTP is not supported

5.07:L03 No audio with AAC+MJPEG+HTTP

5.07:L04 MPEG4 will give bad performance in high bitrate, over 1 Mbit/s

5.07:L05 RTSP HTTP tunneling protocol is not supported from video source 5.11 or earlier

5.07:L07 Adding/Importing 200 encoders takes long time

5.07:L08 G.726 audio is not supported over HTTP from video source with firmware 5.00/5.01



Application Developer Information
=================================

The AXIS P7701 supports AXIS VAPIX API - Application Programming
Interface version 3 which has not been published yet. Backwards
compatibility is maintained as far as possible, but some changes have
been necessary.
