Corrections in 5.50.1 since 5.40.3.2 ==================================== 5.50.1:C1 Image with 800x450 resolution and 90 or 270 degrees rotation is displayed correctly. 5.50.1:C2 Accessing the AVHS portal through a proxy is now working. 5.50.1:C3 Date modifiers "%m-%d-%Y" are now formatted correctly when used with folder name, SMTP subject and message. 5.50.1:C4 The error condition encountered when creating two similar action rules (or by a copied action rule) has been fixed. 5.50.1:C5 Sending DHCP release has been adjusted for environments with DHCP snooping. 5.50.1:C6 Exposure control "Hold current" is now working as expected after reboot. 5.50.1:C7 Network share size will now be displayed as GB if less than TB in the web interface. 5.50.1:C8 Setting Always multicast TTL (Time To Live) to '0' is now working as expected. 5.50.1:C9 Cleanup level when disk is full has been improved. It is now possible to utilize more of the storage available on the card or network share. Known Bugs/Limitations ====================== 5.50.1:L01 To be able to use all parts of the image in a View Area use the same Aspect Ratio for the View Area as the configured Capture Mode has. For example, when using 1080p mode, assure your view area has 16:9 aspect ratio to be able to define it starting with upper left corner. When a Capture Mode with 4:3 aspect ratio is used, use 4:3 aspect ratio of the View Area. 5.50.1:L02 Recording streams to SD Card with a total bit rate above 12Mbit/sec may cause missing frames/sequences. 5.50.1:L03 SD card recording playback fails when using Motion JPEG with resolution 2048x1536 and associated audio. Workaround: Use H.264 instead. 5.50.1:L04 90 and 270 rotation can cause a drop in frame rate. 5.50.1:L05 Multiple simultaneous recordings to SD cards and network shares can degrade the performance of the system. 5.50.1:L06 Using modifiers e.g. %c in a network share upload event does not work when using Windows Network Share. 5.50.1:L07 If you set max gain to a low value, e.g. 0, the IR cut filter may not switch back on automatically. 5.50.1:L08 Stream profile names are limited to alphanumerical characters. 5.50.1:L09 Check and repair is only available if the file system is ext4. 5.50.1:L10 The AXIS Media Control client may stop displaying the H.264 video stream after the PC has been locked. 5.50.1:L11 Live view does not work with QuickTime player using default settings. Workaround: It works if you disable direct3d acceleration in quicktime. 5.50.1:L12 When using action rule resulting in short recordings, it is recommended to extend post-event time. 5.50.1:L13 It is recommended to unmount the SD Card before ejecting it. 5.50.1:L14 The Axis Video Motion Detection application will trigger a motion event if the camera performs any PTZ movements. 5.50.1:L15 It's not recommended to downgrade to previous firmware when having HTTPS enabled.
