Please follow the instructions from the user's manual, the web page at http://www.axis.com/techsup/cam_servers/how_to_upgrade.htm or the file named howtoupgrade.txt. RELEASE 5.20.1 ============== Corrections since 5.20 ================================ 5.20.1:C01 Corrected security issue where change of root password didn't disable ONVIF. 5.20.1:C02 Corrected problem with RTSP DESCRIBE for products with audiosupport. An empty response with no media attributes was returned when issuing an RTSP DESCRIBE. 5.20.1:C03 Changing accessright to thirdpartysoftwarelicenses.txt. Was only accessable with admins rights. 5.20.1:C04 Correcting problem with continuous recording. Error Invalid date format was received when trying to use dates between 1 october to 31 december. 5.20.1:L17 Installing the default AMC (5.08) from the camera will now install AXIS MJPEG Video Decoder. Known limitations/bugs ====================== 5.20.1:L01 A red line can be visible across the image when camera is placed in a dark environment with hight shutter and gain set. 5.20.1:L02 The audio and video streams may not be synchronized if the audio stream is started after the video stream was started. Workaround: Start both audio and video streams at the same time. 5.20.1:L03 After first registration of the camera to www.axiscam.net, some critical errors can be seen in the log, however the updates are working fine. Accessing the camera using axiscam name will get an white image. Workaround: refresh page. 5.20.1:L04 Removing and reinserting SD card during recording will generate: 1. In live view a flickering that will disappear after refreshing couple of times 2. Sometimes is not possible to access the recording page 3. It is not possible to unmount the SD card 5.20.1:L05 Time filter for recordings does not work as expected for recordings that are having the time set by changing manually the time on camera. The time for computer should also be changed according to the time on the camera for this to work as expected. 5.20.1:L06 Having a very large number of records (more then 15000) made in a single shot, the last page of the recording list can not be accessed. Workaround: Restart the camera. 5.20.1:L07 Daylight saving time does not work for Iran. 5.20.1:L08 If you enable HTTPS and enable anonymous view, the motion detection page will not work correctly. 5.20.1:L09 Focus and zoom operation will be disabled when the temperature is too low. There will be no warning about this in the focus web page, check the system log to see the cause. 5.20.1:L10 To playback Matroska files generated by the camera on a computer you need to have the configuration file ('.conf') in the same folder as the Matroska file ('.mkv') to be able to play it. For more information see: http://www.axis.com/techsup/software/matroska/files/readme.txt 5.20.1:L11 With audio enabled, the initial connection latency is increased. 5.20.1:L12 The resolution 240x135 is shown as 240x136 in most players and 240x144 in Axis Media Control (AMC). 5.20.1:L13 When you change date/time format to be used in images, the format in the image changes accordingly but the web page does not update correctly. 5.20.1:L14 Performance will become sluggish if more than 50 different video configurations have been accessed from the camera. The camera has to be restarted to recover from this. 5.20.1:L15 When you format a 32 GB SDHC card, sometimes you run out of memory and applications respawn 5.20.1:L16 After the upgrade to any lower version to 5.20.1 PTZ will not bee kept unable. Workaround: Reenable PTZ, all previous presets will be kept. 5.20.1:L17 Installing the default AMC (5.08) from the camera will not install AXIS MJPEG Video Decoder. Workaround: Install the new AMC on top of the old one. 5.20.1:L18 Due to limitation in the drivers, when selecting 16:9 or 16:10 the top and bottom are cropped to fit the aspect ratio in the View Area page. 5.20.1:L19 Using 176x144 resoulution will cause a script error when using View Area page. The aspect ratio 11:9 isn't supported in the View Area page.
