Instructions:
============

Unzip the ANF file from the downloaded .zip


Reset
============

- "Tools"/"Reset to Factory Default" and browse to your ANF file. This will reset all configurations, recreate the ACS database, and format the hard drives. 



Upgrade
==============

- "Tools"/"Upgrade Firmware" and browse to your ANF file. Keeps network settings, ACS and user configurations (except passwords).

- Firmware upgrade support

- Axis Camera Station updated to version 3.42 with multisite support.

- It is no longer necessary to reboot an NVR manually after resetting to 
 factory default.

- AXIS NVR Manager will now validate an NVR Firmware file for compatibility 
 prior to sending it to the NVR for installation.


 
Upgrade considerations
======================

- ACS users:
	- only local user Administrator and users added via NvrManager will be restored, i.e. 	default local users (e.g., Guest) will not be preserved.
	- after an upgrade all users' passwords are set to "password" and must be updated.
 
 - An upgrade takes approximately 30 minutes (not 20 as is stated in the NVR Manager dialogue)
