UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS

The firmware can be upgraded using Axis Camera Management 2.0, HTTP or FTP.
Please follow the instructions from the user's manual, the web page at
http://www.axis.com/techsup/cam_servers/how_to_upgrade.htm or the file named
howtoupgrade.txt.


RELEASE 5.00.1

Corrections in 5.00.1 since 5.00
================================

5.00.1:C01 Corrected issue with the wireless passphrase that was visible in clear text 
           when editing through Plain Config. 

5.00.1:C02 Corrected issue with hidden SSID. It was only possible to establish a wireless 
           connection when the access point broadcasted the id of the wireless network. 
           Otherwise no connection would be established.

5.00.1:C03 Corrected issue when setting date causing the M10 to be a minute behind after 
           restart. 

5.00.1:C04 NTP synchronization correction when using wireless.

5.00.1:C05 Fixed issue where it wasn't possible to assign a username and password in the 
           Axis Camera Management.

5.00.1:C06 Corrected issue with flipping images causing false VMD events.


Known limitations
=================

5.00.1:L01 In the About page the copyright year is 1995-2008. It should read 1995-2009.

5.00.1:L02 When going to and selecting Basic Setup > Select Wireless the camera
           looses connection during the time wireless starts up.

5.00.1:L03 In Video & Audio > Audio Clips there is no explicit check that a correct
           audio file (.au) is uploaded.

5.00.1:L04 If using a privacy mask this might blink sometimes when saving settings.

The AXIS M1031-W supports AXIS VAPIX API - Application Programming Interface
version 3.

The following groups are still supported from the AXIS M1031-W from
AXIS VAPIX HTTP API specification version 2, but discrepancies may occur.

at www.axis.com.
